THE PROMOTION: GeoSpring Steam Sweepstakes Promotion ("Promotion") consists of twenty-eight (28) weekly sweepstakes ("Periodic Sweepstakes") and one (1) Grand Prize Sweepstakes ("Grand Prize Sweepstakes"). The Promotion starts at 12:00:01 A.M., Eastern Time ("ET") on 2/20/10 and ends at 11:59:59 P.M., ET on 8/31/10 ("Promotion Period"). The specific dates for each Periodic Sweepstakes and the Grand Prize Sweepstakes are as stated in Rule 3 below.
2. HOW TO ENTER: (A) On-line Entry: Each day during the Promotion Period, go to www.geappliances.com/promos and provide the information requested on the registration page and participate in the Promotion according to the instructions provided on the website. NOTE: During the Promotion Period, General Electric Company ("Sponsor") will host various "Truck Stop Events" at which eligible individuals may enter the Promotion by registering and entering the Promotion using computers provided by Sponsor and available at the Truck Stop Event or by legibly hand-printing their name, complete street address (P.O. Boxes not allowed), valid email address, telephone number and age on a 3"x5" card and returning the card to Sponsor's Truck Stop Event representative during that Truck Stop Event. Truck Stop Event locations, dates and times will be posted on-line at www.geappliances.com/heat-pump-hot-water-heater/truck-tour-schedule ("Truck Stop Event Website"). Entrants should regularly check the Truck Stop Event Website for the latest information regarding new Truck Stop Events. Regardless of whether an individual enters the Promotion at a Truck Stop Event by computer or by 3"x5" card, his/her entry will be deemed to constitute a GEAppliances.com entry for purposes of determining the number of entries s/he is limited to each day. (B) Entry on Facebook: Starting 3/2/10 and continuing through the end of the Promotion Period, you may also enter the Promotion each day via Facebook, http://apps.facebook.com/geospringsweepstakes/. Each day that you enter you must provide all of the information required on the Registration page. You can enter the Promotion through the GeoSpring Steam Sweepstakes application on the Facebook Platform. You can also find the application on the GeoSpring Sweeps tab on the GE Appliances Page on Facebook. Entry Limit: Between 2/20/10 and 3/1/10, you are limited to one (1) entry per day regardless of email address used; between 3/2/10 and 8/31/10, you are limited to one (1) GEappliances.com entry per day and one (1) entry on Facebook per day, regardless of the email address used.
3. IMPORTANT DATES FOR PARTICIPATING IN THE PROMOTION: Promotion consists of twenty-eight (28) Periodic Sweepstakes starting and ending at the times and dates as described in the table below and one (1) Grand Prize Sweepstakes. Entries received in one Periodic Sweepstakes will not be carried forward to a subsequent Periodic Sweepstakes; however, all Periodic Sweepstakes entries will be entered into the Grand Prize Sweepstakes.

4. RANDOM DRAWINGS & ODDS OF WINNING: On or about the dates listed in the table above, Mercury Promotions & Fulfillment ("Mercury"), an independent judging agency, will select the name of the potential winner ("Potential Winner") of each Periodic Sweepstakes in a random drawing from among all eligible entries received for that respective Periodic Sweepstakes, and s/he will be notified by phone, e-mail or postal mail on or about the date listed in the table. Mercury will select the potential winner of the Grand Prize Sweepstakes in a random drawing on or about 9/6/10 from among the total number of all eligible entries received throughout the Promotion Period, regardless of method of entry. Mercury's decisions shall be final in all matters pertaining to this Promotion. Odds of winning a Periodic Sweepstakes depend on the total number of all eligible entries received in that respective Periodic Sweepstakes, regardless of method of entry. Odds of winning the Grand Prize Sweepstakes depend on the total number of all eligible entries received throughout the Promotion Period, regardless of method of entry.
5. If a potential Winner resides in an area that is not within the GE delivery zone, the potential Winner must agree to accept delivery at the location within the GE delivery zone that is closest to Winner's residence and to be solely responsible for delivery from that location to Winner's residence. GE Appliances ARV: Between $11,367 and $12,211 depending on appliances selected. Grand Prize Total ARV: Between $21,367 and $22,211 depending on appliances selected. Total ARV of all Weekly and Grand Prizes: Between $34,842 and $39,354 depending on appliances selected. IMPORTANT: Regardless of Prize won in this Promotion, all costs and expenses not specifically included above are each Winner's sole responsibility, including all federal, state and local sales and use taxes, etc. Additionally, no Prize is redeemable for cash; nor is it transferable or substitutable except that Sponsor may, at its sole discretion, substitute a Prize or any component thereof with one of equal or greater value. In the event that the actual retail value of any Prize is less than the stated manufacturer's suggested retail value or approximate retail value, the Winner is not entitled to the difference in value. The Grand Prize Winner and each Winner of a Periodic Sweepstakes Prize with an approximate value in excess of $600 will be required to sign and return within ten (10) days of notification or attempted notification of being a potential Winner, an Affidavit of Eligibility/Compliance (including Social Security Number as required for tax reporting purposes) & Publicity/Liability Release (where permitted by law), or an alternate potential Winner(s) will be selected. Limit: A Winner of one Periodic Sweepstakes is not eligible to win any other Periodic Sweepstakes nor is his/her spouse, parent, child or any individual who resides in a Winner's household; however, a Winner of a Periodic Sweepstakes is otherwise eligible to win the Grand Prize Sweepstakes.
6. ELIGIBILITY: The Promotion is open only to persons who are legal residents of, and living within, the 48 contiguous United States and District of Columbia, 18 years or older, as of the date of entry except officers, directors, and employees (and members of their household and of their immediate families, i.e., parents, children, stepchildren, spouse, siblings and persons residing in the same household of such immediate family members) of Sponsor, its subsidiary and affiliated corporations, advertising/promotion/web design agencies including Mercury Promotions & Fulfillment, and/or their affiliates, assigns or representatives; and all other persons or entities associated with the development, administration, promotion, execution of, or supply to this Promotion are ineligible to enter or win. Residents of Alaska, Hawaii and Puerto Rico are ineligible to enter or win.

RELEASE: By acceptance of a Prize, the Winner releases the officers, directors, and employees of Sponsor, Mercury, and their respective parent companies, subsidiary and, affiliated corporation, divisions, dealers, distributors, suppliers, advertising and promotion agencies, and all other individuals or entities involved in the creation, administration, or fulfillment of this Promotion (all of the former collectively referred to as "Sponsor & Others"), from and against any and all liability and claims or causes of action, including , but not limited to, personal injury, death, or damage to or loss of property with respect to all aspects of this Promotion, arising out of participation in this Promotion, Promotion or Prize or Trip-related activity whether sponsored by Sponsor or third parties, or the acceptance or possession or use/misuse of the Prize or any component of any Prize.

LIMITATION OF LIABILITY / INTERNET: Sponsor & Others are not responsible for interrupted or unavailable network server or other connections, miscommunications, failed telephone or computer transmissions or jumbled, scrambled or misdirected entries or transmissions, or for phone, electrical, network, computer hardware or software or program malfunctions, failures or difficulties or for other errors, omissions, interruptions, or deletions of any kind whether human, mechanical or electronic or for any damage to any person's computer related to participating in the Promotion. Sponsor & Others are not responsible for illegible, unintelligible, late, lost or stolen entries or incorrect or inaccurate entry information, whether caused by Internet users or by any of the equipment or programming associated with or utilized in the Promotion or by any technical or human errors which may occur in the processing of any entries in this Promotion. 9. DISPUTES: Issues concerning the construction, validity, interpretation and enforceability of these Official Rules shall be governed by the laws of the State of Michigan. All disputes arising out of or connected with this Sweepstakes will be resolved individually, and without resort to class action, exclusively by the United States District Court for the Eastern District of Michigan (Southern Division) of the appropriate Michigan State Court located in Macomb County, Michigan. Should there be a conflict between the laws of the State of Michigan and any other laws, the conflict will be resolved in favor of the laws of the State of Michigan. All judgments or awards shall be limited to actual incurred out-of-pocket expenses (excluding attorneys' fees) associated with participation in this Promotion and shall not include any indirect, punitive, incidental and/or consequential damages.
