We have very good news regarding GE Appliances to share with you. Qingdao Haier Co., Ltd. today confirmed that Qingdao Haier has completed its acquisition of GE Appliances. GE Appliances now becomes a wholly owned subsidiary of Qingdao Haier.

GE Appliances will continue to be headquartered in Louisville, Kentucky. The business will be operated independently under the day-to-day direction of the current management team. The business will also have a local board with the participation of GE Appliances's current senior management team and several independent directors, who will help guide the strategy and operations of the business.
