OPEN ONLY TO ELIGIBLE LEGAL RESIDENTS OF THE 48 CONTIGUOUS UNITED STATES OR DISTRICT OF COLUMBIA, 18 YEARS OLD AS OF TIME OF ENTRY

1. THE PROMOTION: The "GE® STAINLESS STEEL SWEEPSTAKES" Promotion ("Promotion") consists of nine (9) weekly sweepstakes ("Weekly Sweepstakes") and one (1) Grand Prize Sweepstakes ("Grand Prize Sweepstakes") including one (1) First Prize Sweepstakes ("First Prize Sweepstakes"). The Promotion starts 4/30/09 at 12:00:01 A.M., Eastern Time ("ET") and ends 7/5/09 at 11:59:59 P.M., ET. The specific dates for each Weekly Sweepstakes and the Grand Prize Sweepstakes are as stated in Rule 3 below.

2. HOW TO ENTER: Each day during the Promotion Period, go to www.geappliances.com and provide the information requested on the registration page to receive an entry into that week's respective Weekly Sweepstakes and an entry into the Grand Prize and First Prize Sweepstakes. Limit: One entry per person per calendar day regardless of email address used.

3. IMPORTANT DATES FOR PARTICIPATING IN THE PROMOTION: The Promotion consists of nine (9) Weekly Sweepstakes, one (1) Grand Prize Sweepstakes and one (1) First Prize Sweepstakes, each starting and ending on the dates and times described in the table below. Non-winning entries from one Weekly Sweepstakes will roll over to and be included in subsequent Weekly Sweepstakes and all Weekly Sweepstakes entries will be entered into the Grand Prize Sweepstakes/First Prize Sweepstakes for a chance to win either the Grand Prize or the First Prize. Entry is via Internet only.

4. RANDOM DRAWINGS & ODDS OF WINNING: On or about the respective Random Drawing Dates listed in the table above, Mercury Promotions & Fulfillment ("Mercury"), an independent judging agency, will select the names of the potential winner of each Weekly Sweepstakes in a random drawing from among all eligible entries received for that respective Weekly Sweepstakes, and the potential winner will be notified by phone, e-mail or postal mail on or about the respective Notification Dates listed in the table. The respective potential winners of the Grand Prize Sweepstakes and the First Prize Sweepstakes will be selected in a random drawing by Mercury on or about 7/8/09 from among the total number of all eligible entries received throughout the Promotion Period. Mercury's decisions shall be final in all matters pertaining to this Promotion. Odds of winning a Weekly Sweepstakes depend on the number of eligible entries received and entered into that respective Weekly Sweepstakes. Odds of winning either the Grand Prize Sweepstakes or First Prize Sweepstakes depend on the total number of all eligible entries received throughout the Promotion Period.

5. PRIZES AND APPROXIMATE RETAIL VALUES ("ARV"): TOTAL OF NINE (9) WEEKLY SWEEPSTAKES PRIZES - 1 PRIZE PER EACH WEEKLY SWEEPSTAKES; ONE (1) GRAND PRIZE; ONE (1) FIRST PRIZE: (A) GRAND PRIZE SWEEPSTAKES PRIZE: The Winner of the Grand Prize Sweepstakes will receive his/her choice of one (1) of the following five (5) trips ("Trips"): (i) Bilbao, Spain: The Trip consists of roundtrip coach airfare for four (4) persons to Bilbao, Spain from the major international airport nearest to the Grand Prize Winner's residence to Bilbao, Spain; 8 days/7 nights luxury hotel accommodations (2 standard rooms/double occupancy) at a hotel designated by Sponsor; roundtrip ground airport transfers; $6,945 USD spending money (ARV: $20,000); (ii) Brussels, Belgium: The Trip consists of roundtrip coach airfare for four (4) persons to Brussels, Belgium; 8 days/7 nights luxury hotel accommodations (2 standard rooms/double occupancy) at a hotel designated by Sponsor; roundtrip ground airport transfers; $2,775 USD spending money (ARV: $20,000); (iii) Los Angeles, CA: The Trip consists of roundtrip coach airfare for four (4) persons to Los Angeles, CA from the major international airport nearest to the Grand Prize Winner's residence to Los Angeles, CA; 8 days/7 nights luxury hotel accommodations (2 standard rooms/double occupancy) at a hotel designated by Sponsor; roundtrip ground airport transfers; $3,175 USD spending money (ARV: $20,000); (iv) Seattle, WA: The Trip consists of roundtrip coach airfare for four (4) persons to Seattle, WA from the major international airport nearest to the Grand Prize Winner's residence to Seattle, WA; 8 days/7 nights luxury hotel accommodations (2 standard rooms/double occupancy) at a hotel designated by Sponsor; roundtrip ground airport transfers; $7,775 USD spending money (ARV: $20,000); or (v) New York, NY: The Trip consists of roundtrip coach airfare for four (4) persons to New York, NY from the major international airport nearest to the Grand Prize Winner's residence to New York, NY; 8 days/7 nights luxury hotel accommodations (2 standard rooms/double occupancy) at a hotel designated by Sponsor; roundtrip ground airport transfers; $6,575 USD spending money (ARV: $20,000). NOTE: Regardless of the Trip chosen the following terms and conditions apply: If the actual retail value of the Trip is less than stated Approximate Retail Value, the Grand Prize Winner will not receive difference between actual retail value and Approximate Retail Value. All expenses not specified above, such as meals, beverages, mini-bar, entertainment, telephones, souvenirs, gratuities, ground transportation, insurance, personal or spa services, etc., are solely each Grand Prize Winner's responsibility. All accommodations and reservations will be as arranged by Sponsor and are subject to 21 days advance notice, holiday black-out dates and availability. Trip must be completed prior to 7/31/10. Other Trip restrictions may apply. Winner and travel companions must possess required travel documents prior to ticketing and must travel together on same itinerary. Sponsor has no responsibility for lost, stolen, misplaced or mutilated tickets and/or travel documents, baggage, flight delays, or any other occurrences beyond its control. Sponsor has no responsibility for Grand Prize Winner's inability or failure to accept or utilize the Grand Prize as described herein or for any travel companion's inability to utilize the Grand Prize. Each Grand Prize Winner's travel companion must be 21 years of age or older unless (a) Grand Prize Winner is the respective travel companion's parent, legal guardian or spouse or (b) the travel companion who is a minor in his/her state of residence who is accompanied by his/her parent or legal guardian either as another of the Grand Prize Winner's travel companions or at the parent or legal guardian's own expense. Limit: The Grand Prize Winner is eligible to win one (1) Weekly Sweepstakes; however, the Grand Prize Winner is not eligible to win the First Prize Sweepstakes. (B) FIRST PRIZE SWEEPSTAKES PRIZE: The winner of the First Prize Sweepstakes will receive four GE Stainless Steel appliances: (i) GE Tall Tub Built-In Dishwasher - either Model GLD6760NSS (ARV: $649) or Model GLDA696MSS (ARV: $649); (ii) GE 30" Free-Standing Stainless Steel Range - either Model JB700SNSS - electric (ARV $1099) or Model JGBP88SEMSS - gas with warming drawer (ARV: $1,449); (iii) GE Spacemaker® Over-the-Range Microwave Model JVM1850SMSS (ARV: $489); (iv) GE Energy Star® 25.0 Cu. Ft. Side-By-Side Refrigerator with Dispenser - either Model GSL25JFXLB (ARV: $1,299), Model GSL25IGXLS (ARV: $1,399), Model GSH25JSXSS (ARV: $1,399) or Model GSH251SXSS (ARV: $1,499). Total Approximate Retail Value of the Grand Prize: $3,536 - $4,086. The First Prize Sweepstakes Winner is eligible to win one (1) Weekly Sweepstakes; however, the First Prize Winner is not eligible to the Grand Prize. (C) WEEKLY SWEEPSTAKES PRIZES: The winners of the Weekly Sweepstakes will each receive his/her choice of one (1) of the GE Stainless Steel appliances listed in Rule 5(B) above. ARV of each Weekly Sweepstakes Prize: $489 - $1,499. Limit: A winner of one Weekly Sweepstakes is not eligible to win any other Weekly Sweepstakes nor is his/her spouse, parent, child or any individual who resides in a winner's household; however, a winner of a Weekly Sweepstakes is otherwise eligible to win either the First or Grand Prize Sweepstakes. NOTE: Regardless of the Prize, Sponsor will only deliver the Prize to a winner's legal residence within the forty-eight (48) contiguous United States or the District of Columbia that is within a GE delivery area. If a potential winner resides in an area that is not within the GE delivery area, the potential winner must agree to accept delivery at the location within the GE delivery area that is closest to winner's residence and to be solely responsible for delivery from that location to winner's residence. Installation of any appliance won in either the Grand or Weekly Sweepstakes and removal of the appliance being replaced is the sole responsibility of the winner. Regardless of the Prize won, all costs and expenses not specifically included above, such as all federal, state and local sales and use taxes, etc., are solely each winner's responsibility, IMPORTANT: Neither the Grand Prize, First Prize, or any Weekly Sweepstakes Prize is redeemable for cash; nor is it transferable or substitutable except that Sponsor may, at its sole discretion, substitute a Prize or any component thereof with one of equal or greater value. Not only the potential winner of the Grand Prize Sweepstakes; but, also the potential winners of the First Prize Sweepstakes and Weekly Sweepstakes (other than a Weekly Sweepstakes Winner who selects the GE Stainless Steel Microwave as his/her Prize) will each be required to sign and return within ten (10) days of notification or attempted notification of being a potential winner, an Affidavit of Eligibility/Compliance (including Social Security Number as required for tax reporting purposes) & Publicity/Liability Release (where permitted by law), or the Prize will be forfeited in its entirety and, time allowing, an alternate potential winner(s) will be selected. Additionally, they will each (other than a Weekly Sweepstakes Winner who selects the GE Stainless Steel Microwave as his/her Prize) receive a Form 1099 in the amount of the actual value of the Prize, as required by law. If the Prize is won by a minor in his/her state of residence, his/her parent or legal guardian must sign and return all required documents.

6. ELIGIBILITY: The Promotion is open only to persons who are legal residents of, and living within, the 48 contiguous United States and District of Columbia, 18 years or older, as of the date of entry except officers, directors, and employees (and members of their household and of their immediate families, i.e., parents, children, stepchildren, spouse, siblings, "step" of each and persons residing in the same household of such immediate family members) of Sponsor, its subsidiaries, affiliates, sales representatives, distributors, advertising/promotion/web design agencies including Mercury and/or their affiliates, assigns or representatives; (hereinafter referred to collectively as "Sponsor & Others"), and all other persons or entities associated with the development, administration, promotion, execution of, or supply to this Promotion.

7. RELEASE: By acceptance of a Prize, the winner releases the Sponsor & Others, from and against any and all liability and claims or causes of action, including, but not limited to, personal injury, death, or damage to or loss of property with respect to all aspects of this Promotion, including those arising out of participation in this Promotion, any Prize related activity whether sponsored by Sponsor or third parties, or the acceptance or possession or use/misuse of the Prize or any component of the Prize.

8. LIMITATIONS OF LIABILITY/INTERNET: Sponsor & Others are not responsible for interrupted or unavailable network server or other connections, miscommunications, failed telephone or computer transmissions or jumbled, scrambled or misdirected entries or transmissions, or for phone, electrical, network, computer hardware or software or program malfunctions, failures or difficulties or for other errors, omissions, interruptions, or deletions of any kind whether human, typographical, mechanical or electronic or for any damage to any person's computer related to participating in the Promotion. Sponsor & Others are not responsible for illegible, unintelligible, late, lost or stolen entries or incorrect or inaccurate entry information, whether caused by Internet users or by any of the equipment or programming associated with or utilized in the Promotion or by any technical, typographical or human errors which may occur in the processing of any entries in this Promotion. Any entrant who attempts to play with multiple e-mail addresses, under multiple identities or uses any other device or artifice to play multiple times or to interfere with the proper play of this Promotion, will be disqualified from participation in the Promotion. Persons found tampering with or abusing any aspect of this Promotion, as solely determined by Sponsor, will be disqualified and may be subject to prosecution. If in the judgment of Sponsor, the Promotion is compromised by viruses, bugs, non-authorized human intervention or other causes beyond the control of Sponsor, which corrupt the administration, security, fairness or proper play of the Promotion, Sponsor reserves the right, in its sole discretion to discontinue, modify, suspend or terminate the Promotion and proceed in a manner it deems fair and reasonable, including the selection of winners from among eligible entries received prior to such discontinuation, modification, suspension or termination. Any personally identifiable information collected during an entrant's participation in this Promotion will be collected by Sponsor and used by Sponsor and its agents solely for purposes of the proper administration and fulfillment of the Promotion as described in these Official Rules or as stated in Sponsor's Privacy Policy at http://www.geappliances.com/privacy/privacy_policy.htm. CAUTION: ANY ATTEMPT TO DELIBERATELY DAMAGE ANY WEBSITE OR UNDERMINE THE LEGITIMATE OPERATION OF THE PROMOTION IS A VIOLATION OF CRIMINAL AND CIVIL LAWS. SHOULD SUCH AN ATTEMPT BE MADE, THE SPONSOR RESERVES THE RIGHT TO SEEK DAMAGES OR OTHER REMEDIES FROM ANY SUCH PERSON(S) RESPONSIBLE FOR THE ATTEMPT TO THE FULLEST EXTENT PERMITTED BY LAW. In the event of a dispute as to the identity of a potential winner based on an email address, the winning entry will be deemed to have been made by the Authorized Account Holder of the email address submitted at time of entry. "Authorized Account Holder" is defined as the natural person who is assigned to an email address by an Internet access provider, on-line service provider or other organization (e.g., business, educational institution, etc.) that is responsible for assigning email addresses for the domain associated with the submitted email address. SPONSOR MAKES NO WARRANTIES OF ANY KIND, EITHER EXPRESS OR IMPLIED, INCLUDING, BUT NOT LIMITED TO, IMPLIED WARRANTIES OF MERCHANTABILITY, FITNESS FOR A PARTICULAR PURPOSE OR NONINFRINGEMENT.

9. DISPUTES: Issues concerning the construction, validity, interpretation and enforceability of these Official Rules shall be governed by the laws of the State of Michigan. All disputes arising out of or connected with this Sweepstakes will be resolved individually, and without resort to class action, exclusively by the United States District Court for the Eastern District of Michigan (Southern Division) of the appropriate Michigan State Court located in Macomb County, Michigan. Should there be a conflict between the laws of the State of Michigan and any other laws, the conflict will be resolved in favor of the laws of the State of Michigan. All judgments or awards shall be limited to actual incurred out-of-pocket expenses (excluding attorneys' fees) associated with participation in this Promotion and shall not include any indirect, punitive, incidental and/or consequential damages.

10. GENERAL: By participating in the Promotion, entrants agree to these Official Rules and the decisions of Mercury, which are final and binding in all matters and all respects relating to this Promotion. This Promotion is void in Alaska, Hawaii, Puerto Rico and wherever else prohibited by law. Acceptance of a Prize constitutes the winner's consent to the use of his/her name, biographical information, photograph, and/or likeness for advertising and publicity purposes as determined by Sponsor or its designees without further compensation, except where prohibited by law. All federal, state and local laws and regulations apply. All entries and/or materials submitted become the property of Sponsor and will not be returned. Sponsor & Others are not responsible for any lost, late, undelivered, misdelivered or postage due mail.
