Preparation1. Combine butter and cream cheese, creaming until well blended. 2. Combine flour and salt. Add to creamed mixture, mixing well. 3. Shape dough into eight balls and wrap each in plastic wrap. Chill for at least 2 hours. 4. When ready to bake, preheat oven to 350 defgrees F. 5. Roll each ball of dough into an 8-inch circle on a lightly floured surface. Cut into eight wedges. 6. Combine walnuts, sugar and cinnamon. Sprinkle 1/4 teaspoon of this mixture over each wedge of dough, then roll up the wedges beginning at the widest end, and shape into a crescent. Place point side down on an ungreased cookie sheet. 7. Bake for about 12 minutes until lightly browned. Cool and dust with powdered sugar. Makes about 5 dozen. |
