Canning on Solid Disk Ranges
Up until the mid-1990s, we had cooktops with solid disk (cast iron) burners. If you still have a cooktop with solid disk burners and want to use a water-bath or pressure canner, you can use your canner on the burners.
- Exception: Do not use a canner on the "Sensi-Temp" burner*.
