Microwave - Sensor Cooking Definitions

If your microwave has sensor controls, it is not necessary to touch "Start" after depressing the sensor control pad. The microwave will automatically begin cooking the food. The moisture sensor inside the microwave detects the steam emitted from the food when it is cooking and automatically adjusts the cooking time.

The cooking times for some sensor pads can be adjusted. The Reheat, Potatoes, Fresh Vegetables, Meat, Fish Fillet and Chicken Pieces sensor features may be adjusted to personal taste. Canned and Frozen Vegetables may not be adjusted.

By touching the number ONE after touching any of the adjustable sensor pads, the oven can be set to cook for 10% less time than that sensor feature would regularly provide. For example, if the fresh vegetables were not crisp enough, touch the sensor Fresh Vegetable pad and the number ONE pad to reduce the cooking time by 10% the next time it is used. By touching the number NINE pad after touching any of the adjustable sensor pads, the oven may be set to increase the cooking time by 10% more than that sensor feature would regularly provide.
