|Wiring Diagram - Location
|Mini-Manuals are located on most GE appliances. The most common locations are as follows:
Refrigerators: Behind the front grill, in the center or on the left side. Other common locations are on the left or right side by the condenser, or inside the refrigerator section inside the control panel.
Note: The icemaker wiring schematic is located on the inside front cover of the icemaker.
Freezers: Near the compressor area in the rear.
Washers and Dryers: Inside the control panel
Dishwashers: On the left or right side behind the access panel or on the right side above the motor mount
Gas and Electric Ranges: Behind the control panel, on the left or right side behind the oven drawer, or taped to the right side under the drawer
LP Conversion Instructions: Packed with the mini-manual or screwed onto the back of the range right above the gas regulator.
Wall Ovens: Located behind the control panel
Gas and Electric Cooktops: Located under the lift-up top, or taped to the bottom of the cooktop
Vent Hoods: Midline (JV5 and JV6), the diagrams are inside the blower chassis. The filters need to be removed and the diagrams are usually on the sides or in the back.
For higher end Monogram hoods, the diagrams are included in the mini manual usually located in the blower chassis or underneath the duct covers.
Room Air Conditioners and Zoneline: On the case behind the front grill.
Microwaves: Inside the actual case. It is not consumer accessible. Over-the-range models have the manual behind the grille or control panel.
Compactors: Under the control panel where the reversing switches are located
Monogram Ice Machines: Remove the front grill and it is on the left side of the condenser rolled and stuck into a end tube bend of the condenser.
GeoSpring Hybrid Water Heaters: Taped to the inside of the shroud.
Note: Some appliances do not have wiring diagram, such as many countertop microwaves, water filtration products, water dispensers, etc.
