stain: chocolate

CHOCOLATE

Soak in cool water; pretreat with stain remover. Wash in hottest water recommended by label.

stain: grease

GREASE

No soak; pretreat with detergent. Wash as recommended by label.

stain: mud

MUD

Sponge off dried portion in cold water. Wash in hottest water recommended by label.

stain: crayon

CRAYON

Soak in cold water; pretreat with kitchen shortening and detergent. Wash as recommended by label.

stain: fruit juice

FRUIT JUICE

Soak in cold water. Wash with fabric-safe bleach in hottest water recommended by label.

stain: grass

GRASS

Soak, or pretreat with an enzyme-based product (which breaks apart tough stains). Wash with fabric-safe bleach.

KETCHUP

Soak in cold water. Wash as recommended by label.

stain: wine

WINE

Soak in cool water; pretreat with stain remover. Wash with fabric-safe bleach.

stain: blood

BLOOD

Soak in cold water. Wash in warm water or temperature recommended by label.
