ADA-Compliant Microwaves

GE microwave models that meet ADA Regulations feature controls that are positioned for easy forward reach (maximum low reach of 15 inches and high reach of 48 inches) and allow one-hand operation, with no more than five lbs. of pressure.

A touch-control microwave oven placed at counter height provides cooking access for people of various ages and physical abilities. ADA compliance is dependent upon the height at which a microwave is installed. Follow up with your appliance installation professional to ensure your wall oven is installed at the proper height.
