- The 2011 ENERGY STAR® qualified GE Front Load Clothes Washer will use 64% less water and 75% less energy than a 2004 standard GE Top Load Washer. Under typical operating conditions, this can yield a water savings of approximately 110,000 gallons and an energy savings of 4,900 kWh over the lifetime of the washer.
- Compared to a 2004 standard GE Top Load Washer, a 2011 ENERGY STAR® qualified GE Front Load Clothes Washer will save the average U.S. household over $525 in electricity costs over the washer's lifetime at $0.1065 per kWh.

- Compared to a 2004 standard GE Top Load Clothes Washer, a 2012 ENERGY STAR® qualified GE Top Load Clothes Washer will save the average U.S. household over $375 in electricity costs over a ten year period at $0.1065 per kWh. The 2012 ENERGY STAR® qualified GE Top Load Clothes Washer will also use 42% less water and 63% less energy than a 2004 standard GE Top Load Clothes Washer. Under typical operating conditions, this can yield a water savings of approximately 73,000 gallons and an energy savings of over 3,500 kWh over a ten year period.
