Answer

Approximately 1.3 million Hotpoint®, GE® and GE Profile™, GE Eterna™ and GE Adora™ plastic tub dishwashers with front controls manufactured between March 2006 through July 2006, and November 2006 through April 2008.

Or you may call the Recall Hotline toll-free at 1-866-918-8760 from 8 a.m. to 5 p.m. Eastern time Monday through Friday to arrange for a free service call.

Before you call, write down the model and serial number of your dishwasher.

Question How do I obtain a rebate?
Answer

As an alternative to a free repair, GE is offering consumers a rebate towards the purchase of certain new GE and Profile brand dishwashers. Consumers can use a rebate of $75 for the purchase of certain GE front-control plastic tub dishwashers, or a rebate of $100 for the purchase of certain GE front-control stainless tub dishwashers or GE Profile top control dishwashers.
