| Dishwasher - Correct Water Temperature |

The entering water must be at least 120 degrees Fahrenheit and not more than 150 degrees Fahrenheit for the best cleaning and to prevent damage to the dishes.
You can check your water temperature with a candy or meat thermometer:
Note: If this is a new installation, confirm that the dishwasher is connected to the hot water line, not cold. Turn on the hot water at the sink, then feel the water pipes under the sink - make sure that the dishwasher water line is connected to the pipe that feels warm or hot. |
