Range Clock Failure or Appliance Receptacle Will Not Work

Older ranges had 15 amp fuses protecting the clock and the appliance receptacle. It was usually located behind left rear burner. This is a round, screw-in type 15 amp fuse that can be purchased at any grocery or hardware store.

  • If the minute timer "buzzes" there is power to the clock.
  • If the fuse is not the problem, there is no repair, the clocks must be replaced.

ERC I and ERC II models do not have fuses and are not repairable, they must also be replaced.

Note: For safety, please disconnect the power to the range before accessing the fuse.

Please consult the Owner's Manual to obtain specific details on the type of timer or electronic control on your model. Download the Owner's Manual and/or Installation Instructions.
