Gree Recalls Certain GE Brand Dehumidifiers (2008–2010 models) – January 30, 2014
In cooperation with the U.S. Consumer Product Safety Commission, Gree Electric Appliances has announced a voluntary recall for certain GE brand dehumidifiers manufactured by Gree. The GE models are one of thirteen brands of Gree manufactured dehumidifiers included in Gree's recall due to reports of overheating, smoke and fire. No injuries have been reported in connection with the GE brand dehumidifiers.
The GE brand dehumidifiers include 350,000 units manufactured between January 2008 and December 2010, and sold by retailers and distributors in the US between April 2008 and December 2011. The following models are included in the recall:

Consumers should immediately stop using recalled dehumidifiers, and contact Gree directly for a refund. To learn more or confirm whether your dehumidifier is included in the recall:
