Building for Our Future
To further our commitment to community and country, last year we announced a $490 million investment in Louisville, Ky. to produce front load washers and Combo washer/dryers. Even more recently, together with IUE-CWA, we announced an additional $1 billion investment in our Appliance Park plant. This investment will majorly expand our high-output production of laundry products including bringing dryer manufacturing to Kentucky from Mexico, adding new equipment, and redesigning our existing washer and dryer platforms.
This outlay establishes Appliance Park as the largest home appliance manufacturing site in America, reflecting its scale across production output, employment, and its campus footprint. Our plans also position the plant for long-term growth as the investments will help secure the 4,700 production jobs at Appliance Park and give employees opportunities to move into new and expanded roles as production ramps up in 2027.
