Pairing your Precision Cooking Tools
- Press the Settings pad, select Bluetooth, then select Pair.
- Activate your Precision Cooking Tool.
To Activate the Precision Cooking Tool:
- Hestan Cue Cookware with black end cap: Double tap the pan’s handle and wait ten seconds.
- Precision Probe: Press side button once.
Prepare your Range Cooktop
- Place cookware on desired element for Precision Cooking.
- Press Precision Cooking pad for the element you wish to use.
- Press On/Off pad.
- Activate your Precision Cooking Tool.
Using your Precision Cooking Tools
There are two control modes: app and local.
- You may set the temperature through the SmartHQ app available through your mobile device’s app store.
- Alternatively, use the touch controls to select a temperature, and adjust using the + and – buttons. No app or mobile device use is required for local control.
NOTE: You cannot return to app control once local control is set.
NOTE: Only one burner may run a Precision Cooking mode at a time. If another Precision Cooking mode is attempted, the burner in use for Precision Cooking will flash and an error will be displayed.

Pairing your Precision Cooking Tools
- Touch Gear icon on LCD touchscreen to enter settings menu, select Bluetooth, then select "Pair new devices".
- Activate your Precision Cooking Tool.
To Activate the Precision Cooking Tool:
- Hestan Cue Cookware with black end cap: Double tap the pan’s handle and wait ten seconds.
- Precision Probe: Press side button once.
- Built-in Precision Cooktop Sensor (Left Front Burner only): Select conventional sensor on LCD touchscreen after activating Precision Cooking
Prepare your Range Cooktop
- Place cookware on the desired induction element for Precision Cooking.
- Select “To Cooktop” on display.
- Select “Start” on LCD touchscreen display then On/Off on the burner you intend to use.
- On some models, if you choose the front left burner, the LCD will prompt you to choose which type of cookware you wish to use. To use the Precision Cooktop Sensor, choose CONVENTIONAL. To use Hestan Cue® cookware or Precision Probe, choose BLUETOOTH COOKWARE/PROBE.
- Activate your precision cooking tool.

- Press the Bluetooth Connect pad on the cooktop.
- Activate your Precision Cooking Tool.
- When connected, the cooktop will display "DONE"

- Precision Probe: Press side button once.

- Press the Power On/Off pad on the desired element.
- Tap the Precision Cooking pad.
- Activate your Precision Cooking Tool.
