Why does the dishwasher fan keep running when the cycle isn’t active?
Users often notice the fan running even when the dishwasher seems idle. It's actually by design—part of the UltraFresh odor-control system to reduce moisture and prevent odor-causing bacteria. The fan can be turned off by pressing the UltraFresh button.
What is antimicrobial technology?
Microban antimicrobial technology was created to give you a fresher and cleaner dishwasher. Our partner, Microban International, is the global leader in antimicrobial additives and odor control solutions. Its patented Microban antimicrobial technology helps keep treated surfaces 99% cleaner than untreated dishwasher surfaces and works for the lifetime of your dishwasher.
What is the UltraFresh System and how does it work?
The UltraFresh system uses a combination of drain, dry, and antimicrobial Defend technologies. It drains the water sump, pulls fresh air via a fan, and deploys Microban®-treated surfaces in critical areas to combat odor and bacteria.
How effective is the drying performance?
The Twin Turbo Dry Boost™ system employs a dual-wattage heater and two fans to enhance drying, particularly for plastics and hard-to-dry items, achieving up to 3× faster drying compared to typical heated drying cycles.
What are the smart features and app capabilities?
The dishwasher includes built-in WiFi via the SmartHQ™ app, enabling remote cycle control, monitoring, and even automatic detergent reordering. Smart Assist sensors help optimize wash performance and alert you when maintenance is needed.
What cleaning technologies does this model offer?
In addition to Microban® antimicrobial protection on handles and filters, the dishwasher features Deep Clean Silverware Jets and various wash jets designed to tackle tough food residue.
How quiet is the operation?
Operating at approximately 42 dBA, the UltraFresh dishwasher runs extremely quietly—comparable to a hushed whisper—making it ideal for open-concept living spaces.
The Double Dishwasher Drawer has a superquiet 45dba sing drawer operation and 48 dba for the double drawer operation.

Yes—it features an Active Flood Protect system that detects water leaks and prevents overflows for added peace of mind.
