We’ve collaborated with major grocery retailer, Kroger, for our latest WiFi-connected wall oven and range update, which brings convenience and culinary creativity to your kitchen. Scroll through a rotating selection of tasty recipes from Kroger and other partners like King Arthur Baking. You’ll find convenient meals like the One-Pan Taco Bar or Sheet Pan Gnocchi with Sausage and crowd-pleasing dishes such as Apple Spinach Pork Loin. Choose your recipe, add ingredients to your Kroger cart, and then follow the instructions to create your yummy dish.
How to Use Our Recipe Feature
- When you find a recipe you want to try, click View Recipe to see the list of ingredients and instructions.
- Touch Add to Cart to add all the necessary ingredients to your Kroger cart*.
(The first time you use this feature, a simple QR code scan will allow you to link your Kroger account.) - Once you have your ingredients, follow the recipe, which includes precision cooking modes to help ensure your dish comes out perfectly.
Customize Your Wall Oven LCD Display
Personalize your GE Profile Wall Oven’s LCD screen with custom backgrounds, weather updates, and fun food facts that display when your oven is in sleep mode, or be delighted by our seasonally relevant Festive Theme wallpapers.
To turn these off, go to system and then ‘Festive Themes’. Click Off. If turned off, it will stay turned off even if a new festive theme is pushed out..
It’s easy to download our LCD Display update. Just check the SmartHQ app on your phone or smart home device to see if you have an upgrade notification. Then follow our instructions on how to upgrade.

To see if your GE Profile smart oven can receive the LCD Display Update, check the list at the link below. If your oven is included, watch your SmartHQ app for the alert that an upgrade is available. Need help finding your model number?
Be sure your oven is connected to your WiFi, and you are using the SmartHQ app to download this and other exciting upgrades.

How to Upgrade
Occasionally, we will release new features that we can push to your appliance through its WiFi connection. You’ll receive a notification that the upgrade is available through your SmartHQ app on your phone or smart home device. It’s simple to download the upgrade; just follow these directions.
1. Before you can download any software upgrades, make sure your appliance is connected to WiFi and our SmartHQ app. If you haven’t already set up your appliance with your WiFi, follow our instructions and you’ll be on your way. Learn how to connect.
2. Once your appliance is fully connected, open your SmartHQ app on your mobile device. You’ll see a notification that your appliance has an upgrade available. You can choose to download immediately or later.
3. When you select Apply, it can take several minutes for the update to fully download.
4. When the upgrade has successfully downloaded, you’ll receive a message that it has finished, and you can begin using your new appliance mode.
